Ad-Hoc

Letter from Chairperson

It gives me great joy and excitement to welcome you to the 10th edition of the Shishukunj Model United Nations. My name is Aarush Asati, and I’ll be serving as the Chairperson of Ad Hoc.

I’m currently in grade 11, studying Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. I’ve been doing MUNs since eighth grade, and every committee I’ve attended has shaped me in different ways. Over time, I’ve come to value MUNs not just for the debates or awards, but for the connections we build, the growth we experience, and the confidence we carry long after the last gavel falls. Outside MUNs, I enjoy football, playing the electric guitar, and listening to classic rock, especially Metallica and AC/DC.

This year’s Ad Hoc is going to be exciting and different. I won’t spoil anything, but be ready to adapt, speak up, and enjoy the ride. Expect surprises, quick turns, and moments that will keep you thinking. The more you put in, the more fun and rewarding it will be. If you’re ever unsure or feel lost, just know I’m always around, whether it’s to clarify rules, help you get back on track, or just chat about football or Metallica during a break. Don’t hesitate to reach out.

Before we begin, I just want to say this, try to make the most of it in your own way. Speak up even if you’re nervous, ask questions even if you’re unsure, and don’t worry about getting everything right. We’re all here to learn and have a good time, and that’s what really matters. If you have any questions, thoughts, or just want to say hi. You can reach out at aarush.asati.sjc1490@shishukunj.in.

Warm regards,

Aarush Asati
